The Business Unit
Enterprise Services (ES) is responsible for the world leading application of technology and operations across every aspect of CommBank, from innovative product platforms for our customers to essential tools within our business. We also use technology to drive efficient and timely processing, an essential component of great customer service.
Our teams utilise process excellence principles to drive timely, error free processing which is an essential component of the value proposition we offer our customers. The Digital Protection Group (DPG) protects the bank and our customers from theft, losses and risk events, through effective and proactive management of cyber security, privacy and operational risk.
We provide services that enable the measurement and management of operational, technology and security risks in an efficient and effective manner.
Key to our success is the stable delivery of effective security services and continuous assurance over the enterprise security controls within the Bank and and its group entities.
The Executive Manager Cyber Outreach and Strategy is a strategic role responsible for enhancing trust and capability within the CBA Group and in the broader digital ecosystem.
In particular, you will lead the delivery of strategic advice and publications that educate and inform the Group’s board and senior leaders on cyber security risks and programs. You will also lead programs to raise security awareness of our staff and the internal communications function.
You will lead an outreach program that engages with governments, industry partners, academia, business and retail customers and the broader community. This program is responsible for uplifting community cyber security resilience through promoting best practice, thought leadership and improved policy settings. You will play a key role in enhancing Commonwealth Bank Group’s brand as a privacy and cyber security leader.
An influential leader with track record in mentoring, developing and inspiring a high performing team you will possess the necessary skills to develop empathy based relationships with a varied stakeholder group which will allow you to positively shape national policy settings in the areas of cyber security and privacy, and ensure the Group has strong engagement with key Government figures.
You will also be passionate about developing and growing future cyber security skills; building and executing strategies working with universities, TAFE and high schools.
A proven background in producing high-quality written content in government and / or corporate settings will be required to empower you to author and shape board papers and executive briefings on the topics of cyber security and privacy.
Experience with cyber security, privacy or technology would be ideal.
