Business & Private Bank (B&PB) offer a wide range of services and solutions to our small to medium, enterprise customers and our regional and agribusiness customers. We also take care of our personal and institutional online trading customers and our premium personal Private Banking customers.
The Business Customer Solutions (BCS) team supports the full spectrum of customers’ needs from the smallest businesses to the largest corporates. We have accountability for Cash Management, Payments, Business Lending and Commerce Solutions as well as managing the end-to-end business customer experience. The team is also responsible for the delivery of analytical capabilities to support our business customers.

The purpose Commerce Solutions Team is to be integral to the success of our clients by providing market leading commerce solutions that are seamless, intuitive and above all else secure.
Commerce Solutions has 4 distinctive functions:
- Merchant Acquiring
- Payments
- Business & Program Management
- Operational Integrity
The Operational Integrity Team ensure that businesses are always able to transact securely and reliably and improve our customers experience by developing effortless processes.
Your impact
The purpose of the role is to manage and maintain strategic and tactical pricing for the Bank’s Transaction Banking product suite across all business sales segments.
You will be accountable for generating revenue, maintaining competitive pricing whilst revenue objectives, recommend initiatives to enhance business profitability, drive market share, identifying and implementing productivity improvements, assisting in customer acquisition and retention and ensuring effective risks/controls are implemented and maintained.

- Determining competitive pricing, within approved delegations, for transaction banking deals across all business segments.
- Managing & maintaining pricing model(s) in conjunction with the product managers so as to maximize growth, market share and profitability targets.
- Managing the Transaction Banking billing systems, including changes to scheme and regulatory policies.
- Analysing the performance of the Transaction Banking portfolio, identifying areas for improvement and implementing re-pricing initiatives
- Creating trusted relationships and provide insightful pricing advice to sales segment teams
- Identifying and implementing areas for improvement (productivity, customer experience, revenue, and culture).
- Providing and communicating watching briefs and performing ad hoc analysis as required by the business (including industry, market and competitor).
- Ensuring that you adequately and proactively manage risks in your day to day work and comply with the Group’s Occupational Health and Safety policy, all other internal Group policies and procedures, and any relevant external legislative requirements.
Your Skills:
Ideally you'll need to demonstrate:
- Experience working in business banking
- Experience working with business transaction banking products
- Strong numerical and conceptual analytical skills and the ability to quickly identify fundamental economic and business issues
- Strong business written and oral communication skills
- Strong relationship and stakeholder management
- Strong reporting and analysis skills
- Experience in process design and process improvement
