Enterprise Procurement & Partnerships (EPP) sits within Enterprise Services. We are the global centralised function for all areas of the Group’s Expenditure and responsible for all activities across the procurement lifecycle.
Within EPP the Procurement Governance & Development team is the Sourcing Hub that works collaboratively across EPP’s operating functions. It provides support and services that ensure the effective and efficient delivery of business value and mitigation of risk.
As a Senior Manager Sourcing Hub you will be responsible for the management of a high impact team of Sourcing Analysts located in Sydney (Australia) and Bangalore (India) that interfaces with internal businesses, suppliers and legal groups, and partners with Category Teams to support the execution of critical activities within the end to end supplier lifecycle.
The Sourcing Analyst participate and own critical activities in the sourcing process for the various products and services delivered by EPP. The Sourcing Analyst team is a critical facilitator of the overall sourcing process and supports the cross-functional team in developing and executing sourcing strategies, supplier management strategies, and contract negotiations (including drafting and red-lining contracts).
The Sourcing Hub is organised, detailed and instrumental in supporting all aspects of sourcing and contract management processes from strategy through negotiation and contract execution
On any given day you will:
Lead a team of procurement specialists across local and offshore locations that supports key elements of the Supplier Lifecycle. The Procurement Hub provides world leading RFx support, Contract Management lifecycle and deal negotiation support to the core category teams within EPP
The team has accountability to for nominated sourcing activities to engage with stakeholders to develop and deliver valued outcomes to the Group.
The team support both adherence by the group and sourcing teams to the procurement frameworks; and Leading core projects & initiatives such that value and desired outcomes are derived.
Provide clear and timely communication and reporting of all key information to the Enterprise Procurement and Partnerships Leadership team, Group Category Specialists, business unit owners and other internal stakeholders as
Advocate and support the Group to be compliant to procurement policies, processes and standards.
Provide governance over group wide procurement policies and frameworks.
Manage the development and implementation of protocols and practices to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of supplier governance activities.
What does this role require?
- Strong experience in Procurement and / or Supply Chain Management role(s).
- Ability to manager teams at multiple locations.
- Highly developed skills in problem solving, development of innovative and sound solution.
- Delivery focused and outcome driven.
- Exceptional relationship management, communication and influencing skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn the complex into simple insights and solution.
- Knowledge/awareness of financial services industry desirable
