The Business

While advocating for the interests of all customers, the team has a particular focus on helping customers who find themselves in vulnerable circumstances.
The Role
Part of the Systemic Customer Issues & Prevention team, you will be focused on guiding our businesses to promote fair customer outcomes and identify issues before they become problems.
The Senior Manager Prevention advocates for the interests of our customers, by identifying potential issues for customers and taking a practical and strategic approach to preventing them.
Your Impact
- Advocating fair customer outcomes by looking at ways to prevent customer problems
- Supporting business units in product governance activities
- Assess the impacts of market and regulatory insights to identify potential systemic customer issues
- Developing and presenting customer advocacy thought leadership
- Raise business capability to recognise and consider customer interests when making decisions
- Strategic guidance to help the business assess the customer impact of proposed changes
- Customer outcomes review lens for investment planning submissions and business cases
- Development of customer outcomes based management information and key customer risk indicators, in collaboration with the broader business
Role requirements
This is a leadership role within the Prevention team and includes responsibility for delivering a strategic agenda, and requires a passion for customers, leadership and driving change. Specifically, you will need:
- A focus on customer interests
- Leadership exposure, including managing people, projects or other business initiatives
- Experience developing and leading projects, as well as designing business tools
- Consulting experience would be highly desirable, but not essential
