Your Business:
Business and Private Banking (B&PB) secures and enhances the financial well being of people, businesses and communities, particularly CBA's small and medium-sized enterprise clients, including in rural and regional areas, as well as the needs of CBA's online trading, broking and private banking clients.
Your Team:
The Business Customer Solutions team supports the full spectrum of customers’ needs from the smallest businesses to the largest corporates. We have accountability for Cash Management, Payments, Business Lending and Commerce Solutions as well as managing the end-to-end business customer experience. The team is also responsible for the delivery of analytical capabilities to support our business customers.
Business Lending is responsible for providing market leading commercial lending and asset finance products and processes to customers and relationship teams across both the business bank. Our team manages a portfolio of $70B of lending assets and contributes almost $1.4B in revenue to the Group annually.
Business Lending products range from high volume / low complexity offerings through to low volume / high complexity offerings. Your impact & contribution:
Business Lending is a key area within Business and Private Banking. As a member of the leadership team, this role is expected to operationalise and manage the strategic agenda of Business Lending. This includes:
- identifying and exploring areas of growth and improvement
- utilising change management and communication skills to execute the delivery of strategic internal communications
- engage, build, influence and manage stakeholder relationships across various groups that have a direct co-relation to business lending
- provide advice and oversight including leading and delivering on any projects that may be required.
Your responsibilities: Your responsibilities will include;
- Lead Business Lending communications and change activities across Business and Private Banking.
- Develop and execute effective strategies and plans to manage the people impact of proposed changes for BAU initiatives.
- Drawing on your own judgement and input from relevant stakeholders to proactively lead and execute on any regulatory changes and/or projects impacting your team.
- Contribute to and manage the development of a single plan and activity schedule to manage a portfolio view of change impacts.
- Develop effective relationships with key stakeholders and be seen as a trusted advisor on the management of people related business risks and project benefits.
- Support the implementation of Business Lending strategies including managing communications, training and stakeholder engagement.
- Develop and implement communications plans which are in line with business priorities and goals.
- Develop and execute a strategy and framework highlighting success and achievements ensuring these are visible to the broader Team.
- Use your creativity to create presentations and collateral required for management to communicate performance, activities and transformation activities.
- Liaise with corporate affairs to provide content and support external media opportunities.
Your experience and qualifications:
- Advanced written and verbal communication as well as presentation skills.
- Sound commercial acumen.
- Strategic thinker with an ability to work on numerous projects with a keen eye on detail.
- Experience in planning for and implementing sustained behavioural change and producing interventions such as communications, training or events.
- Demonstrated personal characteristics of resilience and adaptability.
- Successful track record of delivering projects.
- Successful track record of leveraging and managing stakeholder relationships.
