DO WORK THAT MATTERS
As part of the CommSec Manager Directors immediate team, you will help lift CommSec’s internal alignment and engagement with the business strategy and team culture. You will work closely with the Manager Director and their immediate office to fulfil their vision.
Using your creative writing and editorial skills you will help bring to life the story we are communicating in a more targets and engaging way.

Working within the CommSec Managing Directors Office you will devise and execute the CommSec internal communications strategy and calendar including; executive written communications, event management, graphic & content creation in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
You will produce various communications which help fulfil CommSec’s business strategy and cultural objectives through a variety of channels and mediums including One.CBA (intranet), email, events and our social platform Yammer. You will ensure the regularity, consistency and high quality delivery of these communications in a well-considered manner which includes executive notes, newsletters, staff forums, articles, social postings, campaigns, social events and ad hoc requirements.
You will be expected to apply strategic and creative thinking to develop appropriate communications which support the CommSec strategy and Managing Director’s leadership, as well as CBA’s strategy and internal communications framework at large. Every communication piece should contribute towards the CommSec team’s business knowledge and cultural engagement, helping them fulfil their personal responsibilities and expectations in a tangible and comprehensive way.
TO HELP US PROVIDE AN ELITE, CUSTOMER FOCUSED PRODUCT, YOU’LL HAVE:
- Management experience and understanding of internal communications and its relation to team engagement and culture
- Exceptional copywriting skills, particularly on behalf of executives, with the ability to adapt to a leaders style & approach
- Excellent communication, verbal and influencing skills, with the ability to deal with a range of internal and external partners, including senior executives.
- Experience in creative direction and development with an eye for design in contextual placements.
- Moderate to high graphic design (Photoshop, Illustrator) and presentation production (PowerPoint) capability
- Moderate video production capability highly desirable
- End to end project/campaign management
