Retail Banking Services (RBS) is the public face of CommBank, delivering a seamless banking experience for the future, to our 10 million + personal and small business customers. We offer market-leading products and services, supported by some of the world’s best systems and processes.

The Home Buying team has end-to-end responsibility for CommBank’s home loans business. We support the proprietary and third party sales and service teams to meet our customers’ needs for home finance and advice. Our vision is to create the best end-to-end home buying experience, while building and maintaining the best distribution assets and delivering profitable portfolio growth. 

As part of the broader Home Buying team, the Home Loans Distribution and Engagement team is responsible for being the “face” of the broader Home Loans team to the distribution networks of CommBank.

Do work that matters

Reporting directly to the Senior Manager Distribution Transformation Projects, you’ll support CommBank’s Home Buying Distribution Strategy and related delivery of the strategic program initiatives to support better customer outcomes for our proprietary and broker channels.

Your contribution will be highly visible to senior levels and will be critical to the performance of home loan distribution channels.

More specifically you will:

• Support the Senior Manager in the execution of various initiatives through logical problem solving that addresses the root-cause of issues or performance gaps
• Consult with key channel partners, technical platform owners, compliance, legal and risk with the design and implementation of distribution projects
• Act as a key interface between product teams and channel partners to support the overall Home Buying strategy
• Support the identification of opportunities for the business to pursue, including business cases for strategic investment
• Present strategic recommendations and insights to senior management
• Support and lead delivery of end-to-end strategic projects or specific streams within larger programs

We’re interested in hearing from people who have:

• Proven commercial acumen and problem solving capability
• Sound stakeholder engagement skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with and/or an intimate knowledge of the home loan origination process will be highly regarded
• Tertiary qualifications in a business related field
